Thanks for stopping by! I know that getting around to scheduling photos can be a challenge and I know that a lot of people don't feel confident in front of a camera - never fear. By hiring a local photography expert, you know that your time and precious memories are in the right hands.
I know that you're looking for that show-stopping photo to print out and hang in your hallway, or you want to capture the essence of the moment - new love, new life, new home.... I've got you covered. If you are looking for generational portraits - those precious grandparent moments - I hear you! Yes! You honestly mustn't put off scheduling those in. The important people and times in our lives live on through the memories that you capture.
Some important things to know:
I've been doing this for a long time and I am an expert at capturing the beauty that is you, your love and your family.
I know a lot of great locations and I'm open to suggestion if you have your heart set on a particular place.
We can mix up your session if you want to - just let me know. You need a combination of studio portraits and outdoor sunset images - no problem!
Yes, I can photoshop that.... but I love to give you an authentic and true representation of the moment. If you have specific editing needs, let's chat in more detail so I can make sure you LOVE how you look in your photos.
Also good to know:
I am fully vaccinated with routine vaccinations, whooping cough COVID-19 vaccinations and seasonal influenza vaccines. If you or your child is immunocompromised and would feel more comfortable, I am happy to don a mask for the duration of your session - please just ask!
I regularly photograph in the main hospitals in Hobart through my volunteer work with Heartfelt (https://heartfelt.org.au/). If you are wanting an in-hospital Fresh-48, I am very familiar with hospital protocols and procedures and always wear a mask for the duration of these sessions. Hey Mums and Dads!
Thanks for stopping by. I pride myself on the experience that I provide for all my clients in capturing these precious memories. I know that getting in front of a camera can be SUPER awkward. It’s not the most comfy place to be in, even if you're not a teenager, am I right? So I make sure my clients - (both you and your kids) feel supported throughout the entire process. I promise to bring out the very best in everyone who steps in front of my camera and really capture the true, authentic self #nofilter!
I know that this time is so super important and capturing memories of these last stages of childhood is why you're here. My goal is creating the perfect photo - the photo that can go on Nanna's mantlepiece, be shared proudly on Mum's Facebook and that your teen themselves will be happy to share on their social media. I've got you covered.
Some other important things to know:
I've got up-to-date Working With Vulnerable People registration. (I volunteer at my children's school on the regular)
I care deeply about the health and well-being of the community - I am fully vaccinated with routine vaccinations, COVID-19 vaccinations and seasonal influenza vaccines. If you or your child is immunocompromised and would feel more comfortable, I am happy to don a mask for the duration of your session - please just ask!
I love editing my photographic artwork to perfection - but I keep a very true-to-life aesthetic. I am happy to erase temporary blemishes - so please don't worry about pimples, spots or scratches! But heavy-handed airbrushing is best left in the 90s and face-warping filters are definitely out. Your best you is where it's at!
For all the official documentation, I will need a parent signature for minors under 18.
I love to have parents come to the studio and be involved in the session - but if you're happier with a drop-and-go or your teen can bring themselves - that's fine too!
